msg:420845 | 10:14 pm on Apr 11, 2006 (gmt 0) | Hi, I have a possible problem im trying to find a solution for. i have a 30 site network ,diffrent themes on each website and each site is linked to the other 29 sites of the network etc.. My understanding tells me that if all are hosted at same server it is a big minus seo wise, is this the case? If it is, what is the solution to this problem other then hosting on 30 diffrent servers? Regards, Janochka

If you are doing the linking just for traffic then use a 'nofollow' tag so that Google knows you are not trying to manipulate their algo.

Also if most of them are linkfarms that simply point to different pages of "value sites" then if live editor visits you can get and probably will get in trouble. Get plenty of links from out of network sites. Of course not having all of your sites on one server would help.

If you have no good reason to link them together, don't. I guess all this was said above. Just thought I'd throw my 2 pennies in too.
