"content page exchange"?
any experiences exchanging "review pages"?

 4:15 pm on Jul 13, 2005 (gmt 0)

I was just wondering if anyone has got positive experiences with exchanging "review pages" or "Content page link exchange", where you create an extra page on your website - about another website (and with links to that site) and in exchange the other website does the same.
I believe that it is a great way how to promote sites - many links, directly from the text which contains particular keywords..
has anyone got any experiences? how to do it effectively? how does it?

Sounds like you're describing presell pages [webmasterworld.com].

I've done this before, but it is a pretty tough sell.

The best results I've had for this have been from using the phone to call webmasters and explaining to them that I would host a page from their site on mine if they would host a page of my site on theirs.

I did not get enough positive results from this for me to continue doing this, so I quit. I hope you have better luck.

Done this many times, but with content, not reviews. Great way to get content and a link from a page that doesn't have 50 other link partners on it.
