Exchange conditions PR3 1 outbound only vs PR 4 20 outbound
Is this a good deal?

A site with just 1 outbound link offers me to put a link to mine.

My page is PR4 but has 20 outbound links.
Is that a good deal for me?

Will my trade be of any benefit since more PR would be received than passed?

"outbound" is irrelevant
How many links on the page?
What is his page PR?
What would be your log assumption if the PR is different?

Forget the calcs, and take the link for the anchor

I said in the post:
The other page has PR3 and 1 link only
Mine has PR4 and 20 links in page.

About forgetting the calcs I'm not sure that has sense at all. If you trade 100 links all deficient in your return of PR, your popularity will decrease.

"A site with just 1 outbound link offers me to put a link to mine"

Although I am 75 years of age I reckon I can still read.
Try as I might, I cannot see the designation of PR3 in the above quote.

Have you ever thought of taking a few weeks out to read and study the documentation on the G algo?

The majority of the info is perfectly clear, and is not something on which you or I can have an opinion.

if i understand correctly it is a one-way link to your site.

go for it if it fits your theme...

Remember that if there are 20 links going out, you are all getting a fraction of the pr4 *0.85.

The pr3 link actually sounds good :)

It's in the title of the thread.

From what I understand silver, you're being offered a link on a PR3 page with 1 other outbound link in exchange for a linking to them from your PR4 links page with 20 other outbound links.

I'd go for it. A link is a link and you'll benefit more from it than he will regardless, he has fewer links so the PR is dispesed less, also as there will only be 2 links on the page once yours is added, as opposed to 21 on your links page where they are located, you may actually get some traffic from their site while they most likely will not recieve any from yours.
