What to do? My links page has outgrown itself. It had to be split into six pages. Now I ask for links and the responses dry up because I have their links on a danged PR0 page. Perhaps list the new ones on the main links page that has a PR4 under a heading of NEW LINKS, then move them?

Maybe that'll change now that the toolbar PR has been updated [webmasterworld.com]. Are your individual links pages showing any PR now?

We're no longer concerned with PR - as long as the page is relevant, indexed (white bar) and not using any redirected links, we'll exchange links. My feeling is that (right now) PR does more for someone's ego than their SERPs.

I'm finding there are a number of others that share these fellings as well. We usually mention that we recently added the page where we've placed their link and they seem to be okay with it.

Those that are refusing or waiting to exchange/add a link because of the lack of visible PR may find themselves at a disadvantage by waiting for the "PR update."

Thanks coconutz:

"Are your individual links pages showing any PR now?"

Just made the pages five days ago:( Main links page is a PR 4

"We're no longer concerned with PR"

That may be true with WW members but not others. Had one reply.."our webmaster feels we shouldn't link with pages under a PR4"

On topic? Pretty close. I guess the only way of describing it would be; these widgets I offer have an effect on some of these sites business. In other words, some people looking for their widgets also look for mine in the same search query.

Yup, got the white bar--redirects?--not me. Maybe some of these site owners only let the webmaster handle this stuff and who knows how often they work on their site.

I did do a major boo-boo last week by submitting many on Friday and Saturday then I read someones comments about refraining from doing so--makes alot of sense.
