Link Managment Service
Whats out there?

 6:38 pm on Jul 14, 2004 (gmt 0)

Has anyone used a professional link management service? ie - a company who finds relevant recip/inbound links for you on a regular basis and charges you a flat $X pm up to which they will find you X number of PR4 links, Y number of PR5 links etc

They would also monitor the sites linking to you (& the links on your own site) to make sure everything is working as it should be & would deal with all email concerning links.

What are the pros & cons of using such a service?
Things to watch out for?
How much should one pay?

Have been offered this service but am dubious....

Many busy webmasters hire Link Management Service as getting good links is tedious and time consuming.

What are the pros & cons of using such a service?
A good service can get you good and relevant links.
A bad service can help you getting penalized.

Things to watch out for?

If the person/firm you are hiring is professional enough to understand the value of the links,

how they are getting it for you,

If they are offering FFAs, link your site to a bad neighbourhood etc.

How much should one pay?
There are freelancers who offer $.50 for a reciprocal link and there are professionals who charge $25 for a reciprocal link. It is entirely upto you who you hire.

Best of luck
