| Missing Robot.txt Advice Needed |

msg:425708 | 2:28 pm on Feb 27, 2004 (gmt 0) | I sent out a link exchange request which was accepted. The website is a PR6 but i decided to check out the website before linking. Examing the source code on the links page, i noticed the "Robot.txt" file was missing. I initially presumed the webmaster probably didn't want to pass any PR over, but on examing the home page, the Robot.txt was also missing. Is this normal or are my just getting worried for no reason. I don't know were to go from here, any advice will greatly be appreciated.

Putting in a robots.txt file won't "bring in" robots. <added>>I'm not sure where you would see a robots.txt file in the source code anyway. You don't "link" to the robots.txt file. Just look at www.theirsite.com/robots.txt<</added>>
