Crosslinking between 2 websites
Is this a good idea?

I have been offered a link from every page on a another website if I give a link from every page on my website to them. The site is on topic, a good site, but just in the UK (we are in the USA). Can linking like this hurt my site in any way? And how likely is it that this kind of linking would help in SERPs?

In my experience it's a poor idea. I did something similar several years ago and was awarded a PR0 that took forever to reverse... Ink didn't seem to care.
