firefox ad blocker
looking for a firefox extension that blocks ads

Im looking for a firefox extension that blocks ads - mainly video and flash ads. I have nothing against publishers trying to make $ but the media advertisements are too draining and very obtrusive.

I already have "load images for originating website only" enabled, and this helps a bit.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

You need Adblock or Adblock plus:

[bene.sitesled.com...]

Works like a champ!

as far as I know, FireFox already comes with a built-in popup blocker.

Go for Adblock Plus; The original Adblock extension causes memory leaks.

Search Google for FilterSet.G for an Adblock+ configuration that block pretty much everything.
