|firefox weird behavior noticed|
In Mozilla Firefox Ver 0.9.3 I typed drugstore in the address bar and hit enter hoping to get to drugstore dot com.
Instead, firefox hesitated and decided to take me to walgreens dot com.
Anybody knows what is behind this?
If you don't enter the extension on firefox (.com, .ca, whatever), it will search for the closest relating website by keywords. So I guess walgreens is the top result for drug store.
I am not sure if they use google for this, but it is similar to Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" feature.
You can try it with any keyword, the top site with that keyword will always show up.
Example: If you enter "baseball", mlb.com will show up.
Pressing ctrl-enter after typing drugstore would have yielded the www.drugstore.com you were expecting.
By default, typing a word in the address-bar performs a Google "I'm Feeling Lucky" search.
