Firefox web developer extension problem
Won't show resize options

 12:05 am on Nov 22, 2004 (gmt 0)

I've just installed Firefox version 1.0, and have reinstalled the web developer extension.

If I chose the "resize" option on the web developer bar, the sizes I entered into the options do not show. (I've set up 800x600 and 1024x768.) I have to use "custom size" to get what I want, which is a little annoying.

Anyone else seen this problem? Anyone got a fix?

Hey TheDoctor,

I installed the extension and added a custom size which showed up fine for me in the Resize menu.

Have you tried reinstalling the extension?

I've reinstalled the extension, and I've tried deleting and re-inputting the options. Nothing.

But it works perfectly when I fill in a custom size. And everything else on the extension works. So I just have to fill in any size change as a custom one, which is not as slick as just clicking a menu option.

Weird or what?

Okay, so, in desperation, after replying to BlobFisk's post, I uninstalled the extension and re-installed it, and it now works as specified!

So problem solved - although why there was a problem in the first place is still a mystery.

But anyway, thanks BlobFisk.

Very very strange!

I wonder if it's a glitch in your Firefox install? Would you consider reinstalling Firefox?

Glad it's sorted! Certainly a weird one!
