Firefox and Safari and Sessions New tab doesn't make new session txbakers msg:1589543 7:39 pm on Jan 12, 2005 (gmt 0) I just discovered something disturbing about Safari and Firefox. The new Tab option doesn't create a new session object.
And since Safari doesn't offer a totally new window option, I can't run two Safaris on the the same site with two different sessions.
I can do this with IE if I open a new window (ctrl-N) keeps the same session.

The FF New Window option should start a new session, does it not?
As for Safari, can you start a new session by opening a whole new Safari application instance?

If you need to run different sessions at the same time I suggest using two different browsers, or the same browser with a different domain (eg. example.com and www.example.com). This has been the situation on Macs for ... ever.
