Autocomplete in Opera
Any form field, not just personal info

I switched to Opera several months ago. One (of two) real quibble I have with it is the (apparent) lack of autocomplete in all form fields. I know that I can autofill personal information, but I like the way IE and Firebird remember the entries for ALL fields.

Is that not possible in Opera, or am I missing something?

Opera does have three "special" fields in their personal information form that you can fill with any frequently needed froms input. That's as far as it goes, I think.

Try down cursor in a field u have filled out before (like a google search box)

Excellent! Thanks Brett!

(and thanks Tedster; I had seen those but was looking for a more generanl solution)

Okay, maybe I started celebrating prematurely. Unless I'm missing something (which is not entirely unlikely), it appears that the down arrow is the same as "insert personal info" concatenated with "Insert note", but does not "remember" anything I may have entered in the field before.
