Opera skins What is your favourite? dillonstars msg:1586001 6:46 pm on May 13, 2004 (gmt 0) Agreeing with what someone else wrote in the other Opera thread, I don't particularly like the new default skin.
However, I am very pleased to see that all the old skins still work fine with the new release, and have always liked the
Metal Blue skin.
What's your favourite?

I've been using Sofa King on previous versions, but with the upgrade I've switched over to Phoenity (but I miss the electric blue scrollbar).
I do like Metal Blue as well. And I keep thinking I really ought to try DOS for about five minutes. :)

I've never understood skins. Why not? photon msg:1586004 12:24 pm on May 14, 2004 (gmt 0)
For me--someone who likes to rearrange my house twice a year just to be different--it's something else to play with. :) BlobFisk msg:1586005 12:28 pm on May 14, 2004 (gmt 0)
I've only ever used one skin and that is Metal Blue. At this stage I am so used to it that changing it is out of the question.
Every time I upgrade to the latest version of Opera my first tasks are to get my skin and install the
W3-dev menu [ goddamn.co.uk]. My bookmarks and notes etc. are usually picked up for me from my previous version.
I'm then happily on my way to WebmasterWorld!

*makes love to the W3-dev menu* It's my bestest best friend. :D </offtopic>
I'm not really a fan of skins (except for winamp), so I usually just go with a semi-minimalistic approach with Opera.
