Moving Opera M2 Mail Across Platforms

Anyone know how to move M2 mail between platforms? I have a FreeBSD box and I'd like to export the mail to a Windows box.

I know how to get it there, but is there a format difference between M2/Unix and M2/Windows?

Got it. FYI - if it's the same version, you can literally just copy the mail subdirectory under opera. Works like a charm! :)

Thanks for posting the answer, Jake. Looks like we don't have many OperaMail folks here quite yet.

I've been checking my mail with M2 for a couple of weeks now. Still not sure if I like it--still trying to shift my paradigm. :)

There might more M2 users who, like me, have no experience with it cross-platform.

Though I did suspect that the files could just be transferred.

<edited to add>
And are OperaMail and M2 synonymous? I thought OperaMail was Opera's own email service.

You're right photon, I was too casual with my words.
