My site won't show in opera 7.23 and IE5
Not sure why not

I have used icapture to preview my site in different browsers. Opera 7.23 shows nothing, so I downloaded 7.50 and it previews fine. Also IE 4.01 and 5.5 seem to show nothing too although I don't know why, my site includes:

tables, percentage and fixed width
images inserted into tables
flash buttons
image as a background in a table
just normal text in a table

Would any of the above cause serious problems? I can live with things slightly migrating round the page at this stage, but not totally disappearing.

Have you tried validating your pages?

yep, basically it has problems with the flash buttons

there is no attribute "SRC"/"WIDTH"/"HEIGHT"/"ALIGN"/..

and on the table it says there is no attribute "BORDERCOLOR"/"BACKGROUND"

I will be doing a non flash site as an alternative so that'll be addressed and i know that the image background in the table may not show up in some browsers, but I don't see why nothing at all is showing up, no text at all. I don't know how to install older browser versions so I can only use icapture really.

You can get older browsers from evolt [browsers.evolt.org]. For anything except IE, just install it using the downloaded setup.exe.

IE is slightly more peculiar, but you can find out find out how to install multiple version of IE on one machine in this thread [webmasterworld.com].

Cheers doctor, I had visions of having to split my harddrive up or something. That actually sounds fairly easy.
