I just have to share this because I was so tickled to find a little-known extension that adds sounds to Firefox events [extensionsmirror.nl]. Someone repackaged it from back when it was Firebird so it works again. If you have ever enjoyed how Opera does that subtle click on page load start and finish, this can do the same for Firefox. I believe some Windows themes do the same for Internet Explorer but it's never been possible with Mozilla until now.
They have some funky sounds for defaults, but I disabled all but the content ones and replaced them with the subtle click sounds (stickymail me if you need the wavs).
