I got a new laptop and want to export my bookmarks from the desktop into the new laptop. I thought it was the .adr file, but apparently it isn't. What is the file with the bookmarks. I found a file (opera6.adr) which looks like it has some opera bookmarks, but these certainly aren't the ones I bookmarked.
Also any idea of where the stored info for the wand would be?
In my case (Fedora Core 1), the .adr does seem to be the bookmark file. I've edited it in the past and after restarting Opera, the changes took effect.
Weird in that I look in both my desktop and laptop computers at that opera.adr file and the only favorites I see are those that are preloaded in opera, but not the favorites I have added.
Go to Help->About Opera There you will find something like Bookmarks C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile\opera6.adr The path depends on your system settings.
I looked in there and I see bookmarks from years gone by that have been trashed. However I also see my current bookmarks so it's time to edit that file down to current bookmarks.
