| Opera Headers and Footers when printing
can I control them? |

Firefox lets me decide what goes into the headers and footers when printing. Opera 8.51 seems to have no such option that I can find. I woudl settle for printing headers but not footers, but would prefer to have more control. Basically, I want to have the pages numbered, but no other headers and footers if possible. Thanks

Select File then Select Print Options then Unselelect Headers and footers.

Sorry, but that's the problem. I don't want the all or nothing option, I want to be able to control how they print, like in firefox where I can print just a page number or the page number and the date and so forth. first preference: full control like Firefox
second preference: would settle for being able to turn on headers but keep footers turned off. Is this really correct that it's just all or nothing? It can't be so.

Sorry for jumping the gun, I dont think there is a user friendly way to do this in the latest opera weekly which is the only one I have on this machine, opera:config can only toggle headers on or off, but it also toggles footers on and off its probably a work in progress.

Okay. I cant' find anything either. I've looked through the opera.ini file and all the settings. This kind of blows me away. Every once in a while I give Opera a try, but I always end up going back to Firefox because of simple things like that. I want it to print with the page title and page number in the header, but no file name and, above all, no date in the footer. Arrgghhhhh! Thanks anyway.
