I just downloaded Opera 6.0, hoping that it would run some of the javascripts that Opera 5.12 didn't. I was disappointed. I managed to get these scripts to work in NN4.7 and was hoping to be able to support opera, but I guess not.

I'm not sure that it never didn't. What was released today, was a tweak fix for v6.0 change log: [searchengineworld.com...]

For those that tried the new beta (alot of you by the looks of the logs this morning) that are having trouble with the new smooth scroll feature, you can disable it as follows. Load the "Opera6.ini" file that is located in your Opera directory (where opera is installed) into a text editor. Probably c:\Program Files\Opera\Opera6.ini. Add the following line under the [User Prefs] section: Smooth Scrolling=0
