Among other things, it updates the Zlib library used.

I have been monitoring browser stats from thecounter.com for some time now, the user base for Opera is starting to grow at a faster pace. For months, Opera's stats were holding at approximately 60-65% of Netscape 6's reported stats.

This month Opera has narrowed the gap and is now at about 75% of Netscape 6's reported usage, which itself, is gaining numbers as NN4.x devotees begin to bail

Opera is also the 4th most popular download (internet category) at Download.com - I guess the "little engine that could" is winning a growing number of believers.

Seems about the same to me. To really tell, you need to empty your cache and history files to get back to a scratch state.

Sure looks like Opera is growing by leaps and bounds in Europe. I think the fact that O6 finally supported Unicode is doing wonders for it in asia and eastern Europe.
