I can't figure this one out. Opera 6 almost always says it needs to download one or two more images than there are image tags on a page. Sometimes it even hangs on the very last image, even though the page is all text!
Tonight I was testing one small pop-up with no image tags at all, and the browser said it was downloading images 1/2 and then 2/2. So I opened the same document in a duplicate window, and I got 1/3, 2/3, and 3/3.
I have a paid version, so I shouldn't be getting any advertising images. Anyone have an idea?
I believe the "images" display refers to page objects as well as just images. It counts external js, css files, and any other 'includes' in that display even if there are no images on the page. It's actually a count of connections that Opera must make in relation to the page.
