Check out this beta site from Microsoft.

Looks really clean and uncluttered. It takes only about 15-20 secs to figure out exactly what the site is about and what it can 'do for me'.

I sent my Mother there (she knows little about PCs) and asked her to do some small tasks, no real problems for her.

I particularly like the really clean and very simple navigation on the left although I feel it's a major mistake not to highlight the actual section that you're presently on.

Not bad - is usuable in Firefox with images turned off - if they add the missing type attribute to the <SCRIPT> tags and take the px out of 2 width attributes it will actually be a valid page.
