I can't tell how much I'm spending on MSN because the reports are absolutely, completely, someone-should-get-fired-for-programming-this unusable.
So I'm holding back on spending significant money on MSN (like I do on Google/Yahoo) until they make the reports useful.
To get an idea of how much you are spending, look at the latest, pending invoice. You can see roughly how much you are being billed on a average CPC basis per order. It appears to be about 3 hours behind...
The Conversion data on MSN for me seems unreliable. I ran some tests clicking on my own ads and converting on April 28th, yet those conversions are not being reported as of now. The funny thing is that some conversions are being reported for that date, just not from the ads I clicked and subsequently converted.
There needs to be a single page where we can view uptodate keyword stats, with conversions, and edit bids. And without the system hanging on every command after 15 minutes work.
And something is broken with conversion reporting. I have several keywords with more conversions than clicks, conversions that aren't real obviously.
My 2 cents after a little more than a week (comments above are all valid):
1) To continue with the matching options: make them display as default when adding bulk keywords, and then add a check box in the header above each row allowing me to select or deselect broad, phrase, or exact for all keywords.
2) I want to add negative keywords for an entire campaign. Is there a way to do this?
3) Remember order options. Every order in a campaign might have the same country and time frame options. If we can't select these per campaign, at least remember them from order to order, so they don't have to be re-entered every time.
4) I know this is beta, but speed is a real problem. At home on a dialup connection (and there is no other option), it is incredibly slow to load every page. I can modify 4-6 AdWords ads in the time it takes me to modify one AdCenter ad.
5) There are too many clicks involved in modifying an ad. Right from the orders menu, I should have options to modify an ad, modify my keywords, or modify my bid price.
6) AdCenter can never go live to the general public without more timely reports. People are going to be really nervous about throwing big money at it without being able to monitor results in less than 24-36 hours, and have a high degree of confidence that those reports are accurate.

This is my number one right now so I can build a comprehensive campaign. I'm only use Exact match and a very few Phrase match keywords at the moment. Until campaign level 'excluded' keywords are available, broad matching and most phrase matching is on hold.
I have lots of gripes that have been reported and talked about here many times. My newest gripe is with the last update. We can add multiple keywords (which is great), but only 100 at a time. Big pain.
Please fix it where we can add an unlimited number or AT LEAST 500 at a time. Also, please please PLEASE fix it where we don't have to check phrase and exact individually when adding keywords.
And the biggest gripe of all---REPORTING. I'm begging you, PLEASE do something about this pitiful report system. I really want to give you more money, but with the lack of timely reporting I just can't risk it.
If some changes are in the pipeline, it would be great to know that they're definitely coming. If you don't plan on changing (actually fixing) these things, that would be great to know as well.
You can enter global negative keywords, after a fashion. Put them in the box in the 'manage keywords' page and they are added to every keyword in the order. Not as good as real global negative, the main problem being - how do you delete a global negative keyword? Surely not go through the whole order 1 by 1...
I can't find an easy way to enter or delete global negative keywords. Unfortunately deleting them one by one seems to be the only way to adjust the negative keywords unless you export the list, make the changes, delete the keywords in the order then reload them.
They've taken so many things that should be easy and made them waaaaaay too hard.

i'm interested in the experiences of those of you - UnitedRigo and xor0, any others? - who think the conversion reporting is unreliable or inaccurate. if this is the case i'd like the development team to investigate. if you're experiencing this, please sticky mail me the details of what happened to you so i can send them along and we can look into and fix the issue.

1 What is the adcenter support email address. A support representative asked for a screen grab but the online contact form doesn't allow attachments. Maybe a good idea?
2 Received an email from support. Clicking reply left the To: field blank. So I can't follow up support issues via email!

I'm also still having this problem. It worked for me back in February, but it hasn't worked for a long time now, even when I export the existing list from my order, make some changes and try and upload the same file again.

I want to strongly make it known that you should be able to pause your ads in real time.
I am having a terrible time dealing with support explaining to them that my ads kept running at least for 8 hours after I paused my order.
Support doesn't acknowledge that pausing orders can take a long time to pause...
And in my case I had a hot keyword that ran up my balance...Before I could determine the ROI wasn't worth it...
I absolutely agree, Metakomm. If they can't do something as simple as pause an order in real-time then how can we trust them?
I haven't called support lately but my last support call was not very productive. I ended up explaining stuff about the system to the support tech (as he repeatedly coughed in my ear).
I am getting a lot of bad information from the reps. I just got an email from support stating that report data is one hour behind.
I don't know who is feeding them this information, but there is serious communication breakdown.
The reps seem to not be trained very well. If you ask them a "textbook" question, they ask to put you on hold for 3 minutes while they consult someone/something.
I have had several 30 minute phone calls where they couldn't answer a question or help solve a problem where I had to request a supervisor.
And make sure you have them read back their notes on the support ticket. A handful of times the rep has gotten my situation completely wrong.
One more thing...
My billing cycle day is supposed to be the 6th, but I was billed on the 5th.
Not that big of a deal to me, but billing a day early can cause havoc on some folks bank accounts...
I could make a big list but just a few to start. Just signed up a few days ago and just started a new campaign a few minutes ago and took some notes.
Not a major issue - About picking the time zone when you start a new campaign. I want to be able to pick a default instead of picking my zone each time.
Adding keywords - 100 at a time. I had over 300 for the campaign I just started. I should be able to add them in just one shot. So need to be able to add more, a lot more. More like Google would be nice, 2000 or so.
Major, major issue that has been brought up more than a few times. Reporting is a joke. You need to make this as close to real time as possible. Doing this and you'll get more money out of me. Be more like Google not like Yahoo. At this point I can click Accounts & Billing and see my balance, how much I owe for clicks. But I have no idea how many clicks and what keywords those clicks are for. This is what would keep me from throwing some major money into MSN, Google will get it. As close to real time reporting as possible, closer to hours not days.
