adcenter keyword limit

 11:39 pm on Jun 30, 2006 (gmt 0)

Today I loged into my adcenter account to upload some new keywords and I kept getting errors. Everything from sql error to that annoying error 1 that we all know and love.

Then I got a new error. It said that my keywords had exceeded the max allowed. I am guessing this to be somewhere around 40-50k.

I think my days of 20 million keyword campaigns on adcenter for nickel clicks are over =( was a good run lol....

I expect Microsoft will come out with a official announcement in the next week... or they wont.

Did you try to upload more than 10k per order? I know they have a limit there.

I would just open up another account and max that out.
I think you can have 9 accounts per login. 3 credit cards per account with up to 3 accounts per card.

yea I am uploading 10k per list but after about 5-6 it hits the max error.

I did not know you were allowed so many different accounts.

how are you uploading 10,000 keywords at a time? Everytime that I try to upload I get an error. It tells me that I must use .xls or .csv , and that is exactly what I am doing. Have any suggestions?

I couldn't get .csv to upload at all so I opened my file in Excel and then saved it to .xls. It accepted them just fine after that. Also make sure that the file is not open in Excel or another application.
