I can't believe how hard it is to get them to run your credit card

Due to my bank being strict about fraud, they will periodically block large transactions.

MSN tried to bill my card twice, and after I talked to my bank and got the block lifted from MSN, I have had to deal with the nightmarish customer service.

Yesterday, some girl at support said they would force bill my account and I wold be billed within 24 hours. She said she would call back to follow up. She didn't call.

Nothing yet.

I called today, and somebody said the same thing. They will force bill my account and to wait 24 hours.

I asked about the force bill from yesterday, why didn't that go through? He had no clue but to offer to force bill the account AGAIN.

This scenario has happened to me a few times and is nothing new.

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET MSN TO CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD?

When I can't run ads for 2 or 3 days because of this situation, I lose a decent amount of money.

FIX THIS SITUATION MSN - ALSO, ALLOW TO ADD A BACKUP CARD IN CASE THE PRIMARY CARD IS DENIED.

I can totally relate to that scenario, although I wouldn't be too worried. Microsoft doesn't pause your campaigns until like a couple weeks of no payment. (Found this out during beta) :¦

i have a rep on the phone telling me she doesn't know why the force bill didn't go through -- how helpful :/

Attempting to rehit the credi card is a big problem with MSN. It should not take 3 business days, as has been my experience in the past. And my ads were paused during that time.

Part of this problem is not MSN's I think, but the card fraud checks. I am sure we've all had problems like this on Google in the past - but Google sends us an email when a card attempt fails.

The problem (I am guessing) is that the regular calls for cash from MSN are being blocked by the card company as irregular. MSN force another request - it still gets declined by the card company. MSN can keep on doing this until the cows come home, but check with your card company to see if they have been rejecting the requests.

An email from the system would be helpful whenever a card is declined though...
