Hi, I am very new to SQL. My servers runs phpMyAdmin.

I created a database, and a user.

I also created a few tables, and fields. I have several huge dat files and I wanna get them uploaded to the server.

I asked my server provider, and they said I may need to convert my dat files into SQL file formats. Is this true, and haw do I do it.

Here is what 1 of my dat file looks like, only this is just a snall prtion:

Try and do a seach and replace. Download textpad and do a regular expression replace (search > replace and check regular expression), find ^ and replace it with INSERT INTO `your_table_name` VALUES (' the do another regular expression and replace $ with ');

Then uncheck regular expression and replace all the with ',' backup first and give it a shot.
