Hi,

I getting a reasonable amount of traffic from South American visitors to one of my sites, and I am building out a set of mirrors to try to keep traffic "local" to improve perceived performance and help show up on SEs that weight according to user proximity to the server.

I'm finding it hard to understand IP connectivity in the LACNIC area: in general what would be the best place(s) to host mirror(s) to maximise user preceived performance, assuming that there is something better than a nice fast server in the US?

(No names of hosting companies please.)

Rgds

Damon
