It's called smart business sense ;) AdSense could start it because they were the definitive leader. Now the others are creating their policies based on what AdSense set the precedence for.

Meaning the rule is smart business sense? BTW, I LOVE the name you chose for your site. That is smart Jenny Sense :) I agree, indeed Adsense is the innovator and the others are copycatting. But then the personalized google page I saw recently is a bad copy of my.yahoo.com many years later... So I guess everyone can copy.
