Received an email from Yahoo Search Marketing today that they are introducing geo targeting:
"Geo-Targeting Display your ads broadly or narrow your geographic distribution to better target your customers, customize your ads and control your costs."
Do you think this means that they are now finally able to geo target their ads themselves and will stop kicking out publisher with to much international traffic?
Yes it's for advertisers but for Yahoo to be able to offer this to advertisers it means Yahoo will need to be able to geo target the ads on publishers web sites.
