I am guessing some reported it...unless Google has a search for click+ads+google search for adsense sites and checks it at least randomly

| ...why is everyone thinking its something else. Is it the fact people think I'm lying or think ypn is lying to me? I haven't done anything wrong on any of my sites, the photo thing could only be the possible thing. I don't violate anything else in this tos. |
| My best guess: A big (really big) advertiser must have lodged a complaint with YPN about massive amount of clicks but very low quality traffic coming from your site! Shortly, there must be a suspicion about artificial or incentivized clicks. There are quite a number of shadow practices that can not be proved in a straight manner. That is why they'd prefer to point at a reason that may not carry conviction but is beyond discussion.

Yes, there is no doubt someone complaining to Yahoo! that precipitated this. That especially makes sense since for the time being advertisers have no way of just blocking out certain sites from displaying their ads (and they really should). So Yahoo has to take the all or nothing approach with the publisher to make them happy until Overture offers that ability.

| I would have made over half a million dollars this year from them and lord knows how much they would have made from me. |
| | They said it was a business decision, what kind of business turns down making 6 figures a month by doing nothing at all? |
| Am I the only one who was reading through this thread and thought to myself "I call BS on this guy"? If you were making 6 figures a month, at the least it would be $100,000 per month = 1.2 Million per year. Quite a bit OVER half a million! I make far less then 6 figures a month, and I have my own account rep who called me to get introduced and let me know that if I needed anything to let her know. I have called her multiple times and she has been very helpful and fixed a lot of little things for me. I just find this story very hard to believe, and the quotes above are a big hole in it.

JoshInTX I have to agree, I think a lot of the story is fact, but from my own experience some things are just not making any sense. I don't make anywhere near 6 figures per month and I've gotten polite calls and emails from ypn about possible content issues, though, they were squared away without issue. There had to be something else going on that you missed. I suppose that ypn could have changed their techniques with handling problems but this seems drastic. When you switch to adsense I'd email them and get a system in place to prevent this type of thing from happening again. Maybe it means a drop in revenue or monitizing your pages with aff or cpm, but I wouldn't just put the ad code up on the site and let it run blindly until you give the network reason to suspend the account ;)

I think he meant he's made half a million more for them if they used him for the rest of the year. He's probably being legitimate regarding the amounts here. I still don't understand why he doesn't have a personal rep though.

What is the general range that you get a personal account rep? I make middle 5 digits range and I ocassionally get calls from YPN but don't have a personal account rep.

I'm being truthful here guys, there is no holes. I was making 6 figures, this month has been horrible for alot of publishers including me. Going from over 2$ a click last month to around 1.20 this month kinds cuts your rev in half. I was saying over half due to the fact of the current trend and expecting it to stay constant/as bad as it is this month. I could post screenshots but then someone would call photoshop bull. I just got 1 pms from other yahoo publisher that they have been canned for a stupid reason like this as well. Looks like there is an uproar in the ypn network and they are cutting publishers left and right. I also had talked to someone at yahoo and they said that someoen was gonna call me about getting a dedicated ad rep and I got no such call, I talked ot them about it and how others making less had them and they said that resources are spread thin in their netowrk as is due to the fact of devoting more money to the it side of it instead of the ad rep site to bring it out of beta as soon as possible. I don't think you should been banned for that one picture if these guys are in the spotlight... My Opinion.

If you read this thread good im already getting to know the problem. Read today all forums about yahoo and what am i reading MYSPACE SITES ALL KICKED OUT. you have myspace sites. im 1000% sure this is the main issue and not your picture. its just a smart way of kicking you out. aah im happy im not using yahoo. im using adsense and yes they let people fix the problem. i had adult pics once and had a chance to fix it. never had any more issues with adsense. earnings are $5000+ monthly so may not complain. was thinking to go using YPN thru a friends account but i think i give up after reading horrible stories.
