If I am not wrong, I believe on this board nobody knows the answer of your questions except YahooSarah. I hope she can answer this question to make international publishers feel some better. by the way, this month i am getting my 4th check. :)

I too am waiting for an update on this. When will YPN extend outside the US (to the UK in our case)? Weeks, months, longer?

They've stated in various interviews that they will eventually roll out internationally, but will not give a date or even a timeframe at the moment. So, it appears to be a "wait until you hear something from them" deal.

Cisko, I was told by my overture account manager that they would be rolling out to the UK later this year, although whether this is initially just for overture (sorry, yahoo search marketing) publishers or for everyone I'm not sure. d

davec, good to know that they are rolling out to the UK later this year. Would you please ask him if they will credit exsisting accounts ( US Based) for UK traffic.? Or that will also be on same pattern, UK Advertisers > UK Publishers > UK Traffic because yet they do not have Geotargeting feature enabled on thier system.

It's certainly a ding dang dilemma. We want to run with YPN, but can't wait indefinitely. "Later this year" is progress, but not really enough for us to wait: that could mean Nov/Dec! If anyone has contact with them (rather unprofessionally they just ignore our emails) could you try to extract something tighter (eg: 0-3mths, 3-6mths, 6mths+)? Failing this, we are probably best just moving on I guess.

Unfortunately I don't have any fixed dates or ranges, I get the feeling it's going to be late this year (i.e. late autumn/winter) but that's just a hunch. Given the way it's been put back in the past, I wouldn't rely on it being this year at all - could well be into 2007 before it's rolled out. Also just to reiterate, this is the dynamic contextual match product for existing overture partners - I'm imagining this is the same thing as ypn but they could be rolled out at different times. d

We gave up waiting.... this could go on for ever. We finally went with Adbrite and a couple of other options. There frankly doesn't seem to be much sense of urgency at Y as far as I can tell.
