No, it's sporadic. It's still pretty bad. I'm seeing some members at digitalpo-int.com seem to be back to normal.
What I'm wondering is if this is effecting those of us with site targetting turned on? Or those without?
8:03 pm on Feb 21, 2006 (gmt 0)
80% of what I was previously so far today...
8:14 pm on Feb 21, 2006 (gmt 0)
I spoke with a different YPN rep, (my personal one). They assured me that everything would be back to normal in a couple of days. I wasn't given any details, same standard "couple of days for system to stabilize". I was assured that within a few days though, everything would be back exactly as it was before Friday.
From a programmer's perspective, I can't understand what the "system stabilization" could mean and why some publishers are back to normal and some aren't. That doesn't sound like it's a system failure at all. It sounds like they are taking some time to generate statistical data on certain areas only.
It would be extremely helpful if people here could post if they are up or down, and if they are using URL targetting or not, and which section if so. It would definitely paint a global picture on which areas seem to be having problems.
I'll start: I'm targetting insurance and I'm way down.

I'm ABOVE normal now.
The last few days I've seen ALOT higher amounts of clicks with the same impressions. Not sure why. Ads are still not targetted.
No categories, no blocked urls, etc. for me. YPN out of the box.
9:27 pm on Feb 21, 2006 (gmt 0)
els, I'm going to try that and see what happens.
10:46 pm on Feb 21, 2006 (gmt 0)
I changed targetting. Instant change. Still not up to previous levels of what my account was, but it seems the area I'm now targetting is close to 100% of what it used to be prior to Friday, for this area.
I'm going to make a logical deduction here and say that most areas have been limited by the Friday change. Some of those areas have since had their limitations removed ("system is stabilizing", sheesh). If what Yahoo is telling is is accurate, then in the next few days, all limitations will be lifted.
Users who have no ad-targetting at all are no longer effected.
Does anyone have any contradictory data?
My best guess as to why they are testing section limitation is either to make sure there is an automated earnings trigger that rotates in low paying ads so as not to allow advertisers budgets to get spent too quickly. This trigger is based on a time-period, and for whatever reason some categories or publishers are resetting themselves quicker than others.

hmmm... worth a try I guess.
4:20 pm on Feb 22, 2006 (gmt 0)
Happy to report my earnings are doing well again today. I'm almost afraid to jinx it by discussing it here.
4:35 pm on Feb 22, 2006 (gmt 0)
Hm. I have no data showing for yesterday. Anyone else having this issue?
Maybe I've been kicked out for "international traffic." :-)
4:52 pm on Feb 22, 2006 (gmt 0)
My YPN is about a 1 1/2 weeks old.
First couple of days not much happening. Then each day got better and better.
I then decided to located the ads in prime locations and high visibility.
Outstanding results followed......I must say right now YPN is blowing away Adsense.
Here' the great part, my site is still a baby and is not even ranked very well yet on all the engines.
Can't wait to see the $$$ roll in once I am highly ranked!

Yep same here...no stats for yesterday. If totals stay true it should be one of my largest income day for YPN so far.
7:32 pm on Feb 22, 2006 (gmt 0)
Yea for me too....why do think the big jump in $$$ today?
8:11 pm on Feb 22, 2006 (gmt 0)
They say it would be pretty much fixed by today, and in my case my earnings are sky high today
10:27 pm on Feb 22, 2006 (gmt 0)
Am writing to let you know that we've implemented some final fixes, so performance should be back to normal.
Thanks so much for your continued support during this unexpected complication. Your patience and feedback was greatly appreciated by our entire YPN Beta team.

Things are back to normal for me. Pleas keep up the good work and keep things running as sweet as you are doing now. :)
12:19 am on Feb 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
Things seem to be back to normal, but of course I won't know for sure until tomorrow.
The earnings for yesterday still haven't been calculated in the reports also, hope to see that fixed soon.
12:24 am on Feb 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
Back to normal for me as well. I saw a huge jump which takes me to my daily average.
PS: I still don't see anything for yesterday.
1:24 am on Feb 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
Unfortunately, I'm still showing nothing for today and nothing for yesterday.
I did submit a support ticket earlier, but no response as of yet.
Maybe it's just me.
Yahoo hates me! It's a conspiracy, I tell you! They're all talking about me in the break room and laughing at my shoes! I just know it!

I'm glad that a YPN rep has finally shown up in this forum. Welcome! :)

It is 9:04pm in Santa Fe, New Mexico and still there is no "Yesterday" data. I am the only one or is the the longest that it has taken to get day old data.
4:32 am on Feb 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
No, I still have no data for yesterday.
5:15 am on Feb 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
Maybe they are figuring out how much we should have made the past week after their amazing update and adding it in. One can only hope.
Seems things have picked up a bit, switched a bit more back to YPN.
6:36 am on Feb 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
hdpt00 I like your positive attitude! Sorry to say my first thought was they were figuring out how much of that days large increase was actually overseas traffic and were deducting it from my total:)
I'd much rather you were right!
7:00 am on Feb 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
I highly doubt they are going to be giving us any huge click dump.
As Sarah said, it was a system glitch, so more than likely the advertisers weren't even getting taken off for it or having any of the clicks tracked at all... no one really knows except them of course.
I just highly doubt it that we will see any sort of huge increase than what our daily totals were at 11:59pm.
I hope I'm wrong though.

Stats for the 21st are showing. Mine are anyway.

Stats for the 21st are showing. Mine are anyway.
I never thought I'd think Amazon Associates reports (which *are* showing yesterday's numbers) were speedy. hehehe! :-)
21st numbers are ... low, but reasonable on the average.
Still no answer to my support ticket, either, which is unusual for YPN. Usually they get back in less than 24 hours.
I kind of wish they'd maybe put a note up on the reports page to replace the one that says "all problems are fixed..."
When they get done laughing at my shoes, that is.
4:03 pm on Feb 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
Jolly I consider you lucky for ever having a support ticket answered :-P
I've never had one of mine answered... they probably just read my question, laugh a bit then press 'delete'.
Now that the 21st earnings are listed, the 22nd aren't...
4:10 pm on Feb 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
The report system is still 24 hours behind and worse on the 21st my Daily balance was pretty good but today the final report shows 18% (a lot) less revenue. This is the first time that it has done that. Is anyone else seeing a drop from the Daily Balance to the final report?
4:54 pm on Feb 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
Now that you mention it wiley, I have seen a drop in revenue off Tuesday's total. Not for sure what the actual percentage is, but it is down.
