CPC alone does not mean much unless one is going to click ads on his own site. You need also good CTR and Yahoo CTR is much lower than AdSense because the ad targeting is pure.
But in some cases (especially for my sites), YPN is the perfect contextual ad program because:
1. It targets wonderfully, with relevent ads 95% of the time. 2. The low CTR is okay because with such high CPC the CPM is still way higher than any other ad program out there. 3. In fact, you guys might think I'm crazy if I say this but... I have come to enjoy the reduced CTR a little bit, because I retain more visitors on my site, while still maintaining a relatively high CPM.

I don't think you're crazy at all. It was evident to me very early that the reduced CTR had certain advantages, potential advantages anyway, not the least of which was the possibility that visitors who weren't clicking YPN ads might very well be clicking on something else I had to offer. I'll take higher CPC/lower CTR over lower CPC/higher CTR any day of the week.
