It's a bit discouraging.
And I didn't even get a Christmas present.
I did get some email from YPN with a "Peace on earth" graphic of some kid holding the glowing rave earth orb or something.
Did everyone else get that?
I'de still rather have a hat.

Looks like the honeymoon may be over.

My epc is still the same...making very good $$$...can't complain...only thing is the ads going away leaving a white space

I didn't get any gift either. Bummer.

Waaaay down. I'm now running YPN on odd days, Adsense on even days.
2:36 pm on Dec 23, 2005 (gmt 0)
Mine has dropped in half...
2:44 pm on Dec 23, 2005 (gmt 0)
I'm way down too - about 40% lower. Weird thing is, my CTR is way up.
Yesterday morning, things seemed back to normal, as I was getting $.50-$1 clicks. Then things fell apart in the afternoon and I was only getting 10 cent clicks.
I guess everyone's marketing budget is running out...

well.. yeah.. that could explain it of course. I think a more likely reason would be an adjustment in the profit share.
Buz already said it.. "The honeymoon is over"
I just wish I could have gotten in on more of this. Sure was sweet while it lasted...

Soon many of us will be singing "YPN rest in Peace!, it was good while it lasted"
I am in the process of changing many of my sites back to Adsense. Still holding on to two sites for YPN.
We shall see.

Same here .. been going down for the last couple of weeks, getting really bad. I think part of this is seasonal. I also noticed one of my best ads seems to have decided to opt of the content network. I also see a general overall drop in traffic.
No christmas present here either - just the email of the kid holding the globe.
I am going to wait to switch back. I might do the odd even days thing.

I think it's a bit early to say it's a drop off for good. Perhaps it's just because it's not only the end of the month but also the end of the year AND the end of the holiday season. All three could pose a drop in CPC values.
I haven't seen a big dip myself, though the CTR is down somewhat as ads aren't as targeted. I added a few more RON ads to the block list and have high hopes for Q1 when companies start spending some of the Q4 profits.

I didn't even know that I have my own ads and you're blocking them?
9:03 pm on Dec 31, 2005 (gmt 0)
For me, CTR's down by half on the average from last month, and so is CPM. EPC is probably about the same. I'm just trying YPN on one little site since it only made a tiny bit over $100 a month with Adsense. In November, I made about 50% more than I did with Adsense. In December, though, ugh. I'm not even going to hit the $100.00 minimum.
I'm definitely not thinking about moving everything to YPN now, though. :-)

Possibly your low EPC is cause of low traffic during the holidays... don't expect big cash when low visitors are there...

YPN Ads still paying higher than AdSense for me.
I would literally have to get 20-30 clicks in AdSense to account for my average click value from YPN. On the same damn page...
CTR for AdSense is still way better, but since AS started putting only 1 or 2 ads in my 336x and 250x250 ad spots the CTR has taken a crap anyways so I have to stay partial to YPN!
