|Woe is me: approved but Canadian.|

When the YPN beta application form went online a LONG time ago, I applied. Didn't read the fine print if there was any, I just figured it couldn't hurt to apply. My site has been earning a good revenue via AdSense, so I thought I'd like to give YPN a shot. My site is hosted in the US and serves a primarily US audience.
After a couple months went by I dug a bit deeper and learned it was a US-only thing, and figured I'd have to wait for it to go international before I could be approved (or even officially rejected).
But, like a lot of other people, I got the acceptance email early December. However, since I knew this was US-only thing, I didn't bother to do anything and was content to wait.
But then today I get a message on my answering machine... from YPN, wondering why I hadn't completed the signup process, and gave a number to call if I needed help.
Yes, I could use some help - is there some way for you guys to put a 60 cent stamp on the check envelope instead of 37 cents?

I am amazed at the number of international publishers who are accepted into YPN.

It seems they are sending out invitations now. I have two invites but unfortunately I am not in the USA. :-(

I also received a call From Yahoo as well. I told them I am unable to join YPN simply because I do not have SSN or US tax ID. I asked if it is possible to apply without SSN or tax ID and the answer was No.

I think it is because Canadian phone numbers have no difference with US phone numbers. When I r3eceived the call, I told them I am in Vancouver, BC. The Yahoo man said "Oh, you are in Canada."
