Mozilla is a browser type, can be a human visitor or a spider without it's own custom browser type (like Slurp or Googlebot).

Hello Junebug.

Mozilla 4.0 is the html client. Originally, it used to refer to Netscape Nav/Comm. 4.0 or higher, you'll get:

Mozilla/version [languague] (Platform and other useless data)

In the case of MSIE you'll get:

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible;MSIE version number; platform and other junk)
