I am not sure if "Lycos_Spider_(modspider)" has been previously reported here. I saw it in my access log file for the first time today. Requested robots.txt and one other file.

REMOTE_HOST: 209.202.248.213 (dnaspider03.mia.lycos.com)
HTTP_USER_AGENT: Lycos_Spider_(modspider)

The Lycos web search still appears to be using the Ask Jeeves database.
