Spider analyzer software

I was wondering if there was any free or fee based spider analyzing software programs. (Something like hitbox, but it needs to be a log analyzer) All I want is a page that tells me everyday what spiders indexed my page. Is this possible?

Hey Steven - Welcome to WebmasterWorld.

Pop over to Traxis [searchengineworld.com] and have a look. It's free and works like a charm.

I get the following errors when I tried to install traxis

(err #): The server or script encountered an error while trying to access
/usr/cgiwrap/cgiwrap/traxis/data/_usr_cgiwrap_cgiwrap_traxis_data_traxis-config.pl.lock !Either the directory or file
doesn't exist, or its permissions are set incorrectly.

File Error!

(err #2b): The server or script encountered an error while trying to access /usr/cgiwrap/cgiwrap/traxis/data/traxis-config.pl
!Either the directory or file doesn't exist, or its permissions are set incorrectly.

What should I do, can anyone help?

Does anyone know what to do so I can correct these errors and install Traxis? When I downloaded the program, it didn't have a traxis-config.pl file, could this be the problem?

Thanks for the help in advance
steven

I am experiencing the same problem as Steven has described with
Traxis:

(err #):The server or script has encountered an error while trying to access
/home/httpd/cgi-bin/traxis/data/_home_httpd_cgi-bin_traxis_data_traxis-config.pl.lock !Either the directory or file doesn't exist, or its permissions are set incorrectly.

(err #2b):The server or script has encountered an error while trying to access
/home/httpd/cgi-bin/traxis/data/traxis-config.pl.lock !Either the directory or file doesn't exist, or its permissions are set incorrectly.

(err #):The server or script has encountered an error while trying to access
/home/httpd/cgi-bin/traxis/data/_home_httpd_cgi-bin_traxis_data_traxis-users.dat.lock !Either the directory or file doesn't exist, or its permissions are set incorrectly.

(err #2b):The server or script has encountered an error while trying to access
/home/httpd/cgi-bin/traxis/data/traxis-users.dat.lock !Either the directory or file doesn't exist, or its permissions are set incorrectly.

Any ideas? Thank you.

well i got everything to work except it says
Data Path *warning* was not found.

I created a data folder and don't understand why it is not working so the way I set it up goes /traxis/data/ correct?

Anyone have any ideas?
