I get hits from this one about once a week for a year. Acts like a spider (40-50 hits, multiple pages and at one point it did request a robots.txt - but not no more). Any clue who this really is?

There's actually two of them:

inktomi1.algonet.se
194.213.69.99

inktomi2.algonet.se
194.213.69.100

They do seem to be genuine spiders hosted on Telenordia, a major Swedish phone and web access provider.
It seems strange that they name their spiders Inktomi, because if you use their world search function at [start.telenordia.se...] (look for "SÖK" button, set option to "Världen"), you will be led to EVREKA, a well known Swedish SE which, however, employs an AV engine.

Here's a route trace excerpt showing they are, indeed, located in Sweden:
