Not sure if anyone has heard of this one. I don't know if it's new or what, but it just spidered my whole site unsolicited. Not sure where it got it's info.

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MuscatFerret/1.7; [webtop.com...] )

Might be worth looking into.

They require email verification for adding your URL too....interesting.

What's really interesting is that they don't add your url until you click on the link in the confirmation email they send you.

Here's another strange one that I got a referral from today. Seems to use google results, yet they are advertising a pay per keyword deal. Maybe too new to tell yet.

I kinda like the idea of email verification. I wish the big engines would do it. I don't think they understand the traffic potential such a system could generate for them. It could also reduce spam.
