|Getting Started Local|
We are very new to local search.
We currently run a very targetted directory that lists local establishments similar to a yellow pages.
1) can we get listed in local searches for every city we list our listing?
2) if so, how does one get started?
Thanks for your post. Likely, however, you are going to have to clarify your question to get a responce.
What do you mean by >>for every city we list our listing?
Also, are you referring to the pure LS engines like Yahoo Local or are you referring to traditional search results pages for explicit local queries.
chicago, thanks for your reply and I will now try to be more clear.
we currently are running a nationwide directory. This directory is categorized by state/city/zip and practice area for each listing. Therefore: Listing 1, California, Practice Area B, Zip Code 90210.
We have over 300 listings from all over the country. I wanted to know if each listing can be posted in Yahoo Local, Google Local or MSN Local.
hope thats better.
>>300 >> if each listing can be posted in Yahoo Local, Google Local or MSN Local
The answer is yes.
The question is what you are prepared to do to learn, automate, inform, monetize, manage, and command the process.
I'll do anything to command the process! Teach me, great local search ninja master!
