Local Search Forum

So, what will be the topics of local search at PubCon LasVegas 2005?
What's hot or not? Predictions coming true or stalling?

I want to know, so I can start thinking about how I can make trouble at the Local Search presentation. :)

Actually, I'm just interested in an overview of what's been building momentum during the past 12 months and what's on the horizon.

What are the hot topics?

What's just starting to peek out of the concept box?

Anything fall flat or make a false start?

Anything boiling just below the surface?

Where does local search stand and what might we be talking about in a few weeks?

If anyone can drag me out its you Webwork.

Can I use your points as a template? Cause we can't leave it up to vendor presentatations can we?

What the heck do the vendors know anyway, C?

Remember, in the realm of local search, it's the guy with the peashooter that's going to be a constant source of grief for every model the vendors ever come up with . . . and there's a large supply of guys and gals taking aim, I suspect. :)

So, what's the word from Mt. Olympus? (Or is that Mt. Chicago?)

Ya know, C, I'm just a lowly assistant to the horse trainer, the guy who warms up the steed, and I'm not the racehorse - that's you. I'm just here to warm you up a bit. :-P

So, we have maps now tied into local search. We can get directions. Phone numbers. All sorts of goodies. I'm likin' it.

What's it all mean?

I know. I only ask the simple questions after you've had your "ah, now I can relax" martini. :)
