Download windows updates rather than use IE
because it's not going to let me do it through the browser

I'm trying to update windows 98 without installing vb scripting. When I installed ie6 off a CD I unchecked it at the time, but now when I try to update windows, it says it need to download and install vb script. Fine, do it. What do I care. So I let install vb script, but every time I try to do it, it says it can't contact the server and to try later. I tried looking through the ms site for a download for ie6 to update it, but it tells me to go to windows update. Which takes us back to step one. So, does anyone know where I can download the updates without having to do it through the browser? Cause ms's site is bloody impossible to find stuff on
