Microsoft has put out a SP2 patch [computerweekly.com] Computer Weekly | Microsoft has issued an additional patch for Windows XP Service Pack 2, to stop the system crashing as a result of users installing unnamed third party anti-virus software or firewalls. |

I just went to updates and the only thing I found was the page is now in frames. I must already have it.
