Samsung's 32GB Flash drive 5% the power of HDs and 3X the write speed JAB Creations msg:1568277 6:37 pm on Mar 22, 2006 (gmt 0) Not sure I can link it but it's a pretty sweet looking storage technology. They are projecting 100GB by next year. No clue about the dimensions though the picture I saw makes like look like the size of a floppy. Another article I think passively mentioned 1.8 inchs but squared? Found the story off of Google News.

Got bunches o' bucks? This PCWorld article [ pcworld.com] says:
Flash memory costs around $30 per gigabyte; the memory needed for the 32GB SSD drive works out to about $960, before any other costs are taken into account.
Of course, in a couple of years we'll probably be able to pick one up for $50 or so.

I can't wait for the price to come down. A 32gb flash drive for the os and programs plus two 500gb drives to store stuff would be awesome.
