Roter-less connection and regular crashes
Any suggestions on the difficult problem?

This is concerning a remote server that is connected to internet using a 555 aircard. The system crashes regularly at times and works fine at others. Since the crashes are not reproducible on demand we are having a hard time pinpointing the cause. The only thing that makes any sense is that these crashes have something to do with direct connection to the internet using the aircard rather than through a router. we do have a software firewall that claims to stop regular Henkel attacks it detects.

Is there an off the shelf hardware solution of adding a router between a card modem and a computer?

Any insights will be really appreciated.
