I live in RIM's home town (Waterloo, ON). Billionaire Lazaridis (founder of RIM) throws money like confetti at every tech initiative he can see with the naked eye.
His money built the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics:
I'm looking forward to seeing the new moving sidewalks (ala Jetsons), lifelike robot crossing guards and little Quantum computers in our parking meters.

nah.. just choices. There is soo much google on the net it's actually distracting what value i get from the net. sick of 99.9% of the sites coming up are simply spider traps with adsense ads and linkfarms pushing more adense ads and duplicate sites stealing contet for.. adsense ads. not to mention google plugins, browsers, i'm, toolbars, install in java and everything else they're pushing in your face.
