CRT or LCD better for design purposes?
Trying to decide if I should trade in my dual LCD setup

I went from a single 15" CRT to a dual 17" LCD setup. Obviously I'm digging the additional screen space but seems to me the colors on the LCD screens are far less crisp though the CRT monitor tended to tire my eyes out quicker.

So, have you found one to be better than the other? If so, do you have any product recommendations? I've heard the Apple cinema displays have great color but those are a tad out of my price range :) So I'm thinking a couple of decent CRT's might be in store.

View Sonic is always a safe bet. Very popular with graphic designers. Sony makes some nice models too.

NEC seems to have some high end models out also, but I've never used one.

I use a viewsonic lcd monitor and found it to be better than all CTR monitors that I've used in the past.
