magnifying glass effect how to achieve this? MWpro msg:1564647 1:27 am on Jul 17, 2004 (gmt 0) A client requested that on the top banner of the site, a magnifying glass scrolls across it from left to right to "magnify" the section of the banner that is in the lens part. Does anyone know how to achieve this effect?

you need two versions of the image you want to magnify, on different layers.(ideal two instances of one graphic at different scales)
then use a layer with a circle on it as a mask, so where the circle is shows the larger background layer through the mask.
if you give the circle on the mask layer an instance name, you could also attatch it to the mouse, which might work quite well.
