Best software for creating flash demos? ajs83 msg:1563080 2:18 am on Apr 25, 2005 (gmt 0) I want to create a couple demo's/tutorials on my site and I am looking for recommendations on the easiest software that allows someone to do that. All suggestions are welcomed and appreciated!

Thought of using Macromedia Flash [ macromedia.com] for creating flash demos? :) ajs83 msg:1563082 7:38 pm on Apr 25, 2005 (gmt 0)
Of course, but if there is something easier, I (as some one who isn't an experienced flash user), would be interested in that. whoisgregg msg:1563083 7:58 pm on Apr 25, 2005 (gmt 0)
Macromedia actually has a specialized app for making software/computer demos/tutorials called Captivate [ macromedia.com].
If your demo/tutorials are for something other than computer software, I'd recommend just biting the bullet to learn Flash. A unique topic would probably need a unique look and feel that someone else's fancy Flash-templates can't accomplish.

There is a product called Swish [ swishzone.com] which can be useful for creating simple Flash movies.... Leosghost msg:1563085 11:15 am on Apr 26, 2005 (gmt 0)
<Slightly OT >( why should I break the habit ;) ..
It's not for making flash demo's ..
But you may also want to add
wink [ debugmode.com] to your tool kit for web or multimedia authoring ..
You will have seen it in use thousands of times ( since your very first time on a PC )and probably never new it's name ..
It's free and the guy has some other very usefull stuff there too..and there is absolutely no spyware or similar crap in there with it ...
